South-Man Design Group Ltd is a dynamic and diverse engineering consulting firm that leverages the skills and experience of Canadian and foreign-trained engineers and technicians to provide sound, cost-effective solutions for agricultural and commercial clients. Founded in 2021, South-Man Design Group Ltd (SMDG) combines the skills and experience of Peter Grieger, P. Eng. (Formerly Principal/Owner - South-Man Engineering) and Pete Krahn (Formerly Managing Partner - Tricor Alliance) in leadership roles, to meet client needs in an innovative and efficient format. Peter Grieger, P. Eng. founded South-Man Engineering in 2009 to provide structural and environmental engineering consulting services for agricultural and commercial rural clients. Solid working relationships built with clients and contractors played a key role in the success of South-Man Engineering and were well-leveraged in the creation of SMDG, which has led to the early success of the company. This includes many relationships built with Hutterite Colonies throughout Manitoba, both as clients and as manufacturers. The incorporation of SMDG was designed to expand our services to meet the growing needs of our clients and was also built from a long-standing subcontractor/client relationship between South-Man Engineering and Tricor Alliance.
