Junior/Intermediate Environmental Engineer - Winnipeg MB
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Junior/ Intermediate Environmental Engineer to join our growing team in Manitoba. The successful candidate will provide technical leadership on environmental projects, ensure compliance with Manitoba and federal environmental regulations, and support clients across a variety of sectors including infrastructure, industrial, municipal, and agricultural.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate environmental assessments, investigations, and permitting of projects in Manitoba
- Conduct and review Phase I & II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs)
- Oversee soil, groundwater, surface water, and environmental projects
- Prepare and review technical reports, remediation plans, Environment Act proposals and regulatory submissions
- Ensure compliance with Manitoba Environment and Climate Change, The Environment Act, and federal regulations
- Liaise with regulators, clients, and other stakeholders as well as Indigenous government, communities and their citizens.
- Develop project scopes, schedules, and budgets
- Mentor support staff and provide technical guidance
- Support proposal development and business growth initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering or a related engineering discipline
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) registered with Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba (EGM), or eligibility to obtain registration
- 2+ years of relevant environmental engineering experience
- Strong working knowledge of Manitoba and Canadian environmental legislation
- Experience with site evaluations, risk assessment, and impacted site management
- Proven project management and client-facing experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Assets
- Experience working in Manitoba’s industrial, municipal, or agricultural sectors
- Familiarity with Manitoba Wastewater and Livestock Regulations and permitting processes
- Experience coordinating field programs and contractors

This role requires a detail-oriented professional who is adept at using various engineering software and tools to deliver innovative design solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and analysis of structural systems for various projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholds to develop comprehensive project plans.
- Utilize software such as Revit, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D for drafting and modeling structural designs.
- Conduct structural assessments and evaluations to edtermine the integrity of exisiting structures.
- Prepare detailed technical reports, calculations, and documentation using relevant tools.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively while ensuring high-quality deliverables.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. Engineering or a related engineering discipline
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) registered with Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba (EGM), or eligibility to obtain registration
- Extensive experience in structural engineering design and project management.
- Experience in steel and concrete (cast-in-place and precast) design.
- Proficiency in engineering software, including Revit, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D.
- Working knowledge of RISA, LECWall or equivalent program.
- Strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of engineering principles related to building structures.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Structural/Architectural Design and Drafting Technologist - Winnipeg MB
Overview
We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Structural/Architectural Design and Drafting Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience using Revit, AutoCAD and Civil 3D to produce high-quality structural drawings and documentation for a range of building projects, inclusive of cast-in-place and precast concrete, steel and wood structures, architectural details and civil works. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be involced in every phase of the design process and to work closely with our engineers and clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare structural drawings, plans, and details using Revit, AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Work closely with structural engineers to translate design concepts into accurate technical drawings.
- Update and revise drawings based on feedback and markups.
- Maintain drawing organization and adhere to company CAD standards.
- Coordinate drawing sets with architectural and other engineering disciplines.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of drafting experience in a structural or architectural environment.
- Strong understanding of structural systems and construction methods utilizing wood, steel and concrete.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering and architectural plans.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities with the ability to liaise with other staff and clients.
- Previous construction experience is an asset.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of drafting experience in a structural or architectural environment.
- Diploma or certificate in drafting, engineering technology, or related field.
- Experience with commercial concrete and agricultural structural projects.
- Familiarity with building codes, energy code and structural detailing standards.
